Mason Kozak is the owner and lead developer at Champlain Valley Web Designs. He started programming in high school at CV-TEC, studying Digital Art and Design, and went on to earn a Computer Security degree from SUNY Plattsburgh. Before founding CVWDS, he spent a decade in tech across app development, project leadership, and hands-on roles throughout the industry. Along the way he taught himself to build websites the right way: completely by hand. Today he puts that experience to work for small businesses in Plattsburgh, NY and across the Champlain Valley.

In his work with small businesses, Mason noticed a recurring challenge: many struggle to afford a high quality website. Those who do invest often end up with sites that are lackluster in design and appearance, hurting their brand and turning away potential customers. They are caught in a tough spot: unable to afford a decent website, let alone find someone who can build it properly. So he created a pricing model tailored to those needs. That's how the $175 per month subscription model was born. It makes professional website development accessible to small businesses without straining their budget.
